We've been super busy working on lots of things, but I'm pleased to say we'll be back to regular bloggage from this week!
We've got some bits and bobs of news too which are worth sharing. Here goes...
We've added two new people to the team! Please give a warm welcome to Chris (yes, another Chris; the first just isn't enough) and Nile who both started last week. They're both super-passionate about beer and are perfect additions to our little gang.
New Opening Hours
To go with our increased team size, we're increasing our hours! From now, you'll be able to get your BottleCraft fix any time between 12pm and 9pm from Monday to Thursday. No excuse not to sneak down after work any more, even if you don't finish until 8. Fridays and Saturdays stay 12pm-10pm, and Sundays 12pm-4pm.
We're now a verified venue on Untappd! What's Untappd you say? It's a social network for drinking beer, or a "tickers app" as some call it. But it's also now the simplest way to find out what's on tap at BottleCraft. Just search for BottleCraft within the venues section of the app, and you'll see beers currently available (you can also see this on our website, and via our Facebook page on a PC).
Better still, if you sign up for alerts within the app, you can get popup notifications from us whenever a new beer goes on, as well as for new events as they're announced. We're looking into adding similar alerts and an online menu for limited edition bottles and cans, too.
Pints For Mike
This fantastic beer festival makes its return from 10th-12th November. There's a change of venue for 2016, with it being hosted at Holy Trinity Hall in Newcastle-Under-Lyme (five minutes' walk from the bus station, just by the A34). It's also running Thursday to Saturday this year, rather than Friday to Sunday.
It's for a great cause, with proceeds going to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, and we'll be there, providing a range of bottles and cans, plus some delicious craft on draft. Check out the Pints For Mike Facebook page for more info!
So that's all for now. Keep an eye out for the return of new beer blogs towards the end of the week.
